About Us

Care begins withseeing the person.

Every person has their own story, routines, preferences and way of living. We believe their care should honor that.

Paxlora Companion Care provides thoughtful, dependable non-medical support for individuals and families who want something more personal than one-size-fits-all care.

Our approach is simple: get to know the person, understand what matters to them, and build support around their life.

Intentional care. Meaningful connection. Peace of mind.

At Paxlora, companionship isn't simply having someone in the room.

It's having someone who learns how your loved one likes their day to flow. Someone who understands their routines, respects their independence, engages with them and recognizes that the little things often matter most. That is what we mean by intentional care.

A Personal Reason Behind Paxlora

Cindy Ocasio Roach, Founder of Paxlora Companion Care

For me, this work is personal.

I've experienced what it feels like to watch someone you love change and begin needing a different kind of support. I've also watched people I care about take on the enormous responsibility of caring for an aging parent while still trying to manage their own families, careers and everyday lives.

Those experiences stayed with me.

They showed me that sometimes a family doesn't need someone to take over. They simply need someone they can trust to help.

Someone who can sit with their loved one, engage with them, maintain familiar routines and provide genuine companionship—while giving the family room to breathe.

That's part of why I created Paxlora Companion Care.

I wanted to build the kind of support I know families can need: personal, dependable and centered on the person receiving the care. Care that honors the individual while also recognizing the people beside them—the family members who love them, worry about them and carry so much of the responsibility.

Paxlora is here to care for the person and give the family room to breathe.
